CRESTVIEW COMMUNITY EXCURSIONS
The following list of excursions is an ongoing compilation. Distances and other items shown in italics indicate that an estimate was used. Any corrections, additions, and help with missing information are welcomed. Akron University
Take I-71 north towards Cleveland. Take exit 209. Immediately after the exit ramp curls you back over I-71, vere right and follow the second sign for 224 east and Akron. Follow St.Rt.224 east 19 miles. Take exit 17A and follow I-76 north and then east a few miles (watch the signs carefully) into the downtown Akron area. Follow the University signs that show up at exit 22.
Akron University Indoor Track Fieldhouse
Take I-71 north towards Cleveland. Take exit 209. Immediately after the exit ramp curls you back over I-71, veer right and follow the sign for I-76 east towards Akron. Follow I-76 east 23 miles into Akron (watch for the required exit and turn north at mile 18 and the required exit and turn east at mile 20). After you pass by the first university exit, get to the far left lane and take exit 23B (left) to catch St.Rt.8 north towards Cuyahoga. Coming onto St.Rt.8, stay to the far right lane. Take the very first exit off of St.Rt.8 (It comes up fast). Turn left at the light and follow Carroll Street west a short distance. Turn left and follow Spicer Street south one block. The fieldhouse will be on the right. Parking is available on the south side of the fieldhouse.The entrance is located on the east side of the fieldhouse.
Amanns and Amick Reservoirs via Mansfield - Take St.Rt.13 south to Mansfield. Take St.Rt.30 west 15.4 miles. Take the 598/Galion/Shelby exit. Turn right at the top of the exit ramp and follow St.Rt.598 south several miles through Galion and out the southwest end of town. Slow down after crossing the railroad tracks and County Line Road. Turn right into the first entrance for Amann’s (look for the cannon). Turn right into the second entrance for Amick.
Amanns and Amick Reservoirs via Shelby - Take St.Rt.96 to the far end of downtown Shelby. Turn left at the traffic light just beyond the Ben Franklin store and follow St.Rt.61 southwest 18 miles through Crestline, Galion, and a short distance beyond. Slow down after crossing County Line Road. Turn right into the first entrance for Amann’s (look for the cannon). Turn right into the second entrance for Amick.
Amick Reservoir – See Amanns and Amick Reservoirs. They are located in the same area.
Appleseed Outdoor Theatre - Follow St.Rt.603 11.7 south of Olivesburg. The entrance will be on the left.
Arlin Field – Mansfield Senior High School Football - Take St.Rt.30 west. Take the Trimble Road exit. Turn left at the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp and follow Trimble Road south 1/2 mile. The stadium will be on the left just past Motomart. Parking is available on the west side of the stadium at the bottom of the hill.
Ashland County Airport - Follow St.Rt.545 northeast to Savannah. Turn right at the top of the hill entering Savannah (just past ballfields) and follow Haney Street east one block. Turn left at the stop sign and follow St.Rt.250 (no highway sign) north a few feet. Turn right at the corner and follow curvy St.Rt.302 southeast 5.6 miles to Nankin. Cross St.Rt.58 in Nankin and continue on St.Rt.302. Signs directing you to the airport will be just out of town.
Ashland County Courthouse
Ashland County Fairgrounds - Take St.Rt.96 southeast to the near edge of Ashland. Turn right just after crossing the tracks and follow Baney Road south 2 ½ miles. The fairgrounds will be on the left.
Ashland County West Holmes Career Center - Take St.Rt.96 southeast to downtown Ashland. Turn right at the stop sign and follow Cottage Street down the hill in the far lane. Turn left at the light at the bottom of the hill and follow Main Street east. Turn right at the next light and follow St.Rt.60 out of Ashland and four miles out into the countryside. The career center will be on the right, just beyond Heartland Home.
Ashland Public Library - Take St.Rt.96 southeast to downtown Ashland. Turn right at the stop sign and follow Cottage Street south down the hill in the middle lane. Go through the light and follow what will now be Clairmont Avenue a short distance. The entrance for the library will be on the right, just after starting up the hill.
Ashland Christian School via St.Rt.96 - Take St.Rt.96 southeast to the near edge of Ashland.Turn right just after crossing the tracks and follow Baney Road south 1 mile. Turn left at the stop sign and follow Co.Rd.1356 east .7 miles into town. The school will be on the left.
Ashland Christian School via St.Rt.250 - Take St.Rt.250 south to downtown Ashland. Turn right at the light at the bottom of the hill (one block past 2nd Street) and follow West Main Street west .8 miles. The school will be on the right.
Ashland Country Club (Private golf course, banquet hall, good family sledding) - Take St.Rt.96 southeast to downtown Ashland. Turn right at the stop sign and follow Cottage Street south down the hill in the far lane. Turn left at the light and follow Main Street east into the downtown business area. Turn right at the next light and follow Center Street/St.Rt.60 south ___miles. The country club will be on the left.
Ashland Community Soccer Fields
Ashland Community Stadium (Football, Track) - Take St.Rt.96 southeast to the near edge of Ashland.Turn right just after crossing the tracks, and follow Baney south 1 ½ miles down to the second stop sign. Turn left and follow Smith Road east one mile. Turn right at the first corner after crossing Clairmont Avenue, and drive south past Taft Elementary School. Turn right at the stop sign and follow Katherine Avenue west a short distance. The entrance will be on the left.
Ashland High School - Take St.Rt.96 southeast to the near edge of Ashland.Turn right just after crossing the tracks, and follow Baney south 1 ½ miles down to the second stop sign. Turn left and follow Smith Road east one mile. Turn right at the first corner after crossing Clairmont Avenue, and drive south past Taft Elementary School. Turn left at the stop sign and follow Katherine Avenue east a short distance. The main entrance will be accessible from the second lot on the right.

Ashland Middle School (Ashland City Schools) - Take St.Rt.96 southeast into Ashland and one half mile beyond the first traffic light. Veer left at the flashing yellow lights and follow W. 4th Street down to the traffic light. The middle school will be visible to the right. Make a right turn onto Cottage Street followed by an immediate left to park by the building.
Ashland University
Take St.Rt.96 southeast to downtown Ashland. Turn right at the stop sign and follow Cottage Street south down the hill using the middle lane. Go through the light and follow what will now be Clairmont Avenue southwest up the top of the hill and the bend in the road. Veer slightly left at the light and follow King Road into the heart of the campus. The Hawkins-Conard Student Union will be the first building on your right.
Ashland Y.M.C.A. - Take St.Rt.96 southeast to downtown Ashland. Turn right at the stop sign and follow Cottage Street south down the hill in the far lane. Turn left at the light and follow Main Street east through the downtown business area and older neighborhood. Turn left at the light by Sunoco Station onto Miller Street. The entrance will be on the right, just over the bridge.
Auburn Elementary School (Shelby City Schools) - Take St.Rt.96 west to the far end of downtown Shelby. Turn right at the corner following the Marathon Station, and follow West Street north a short distance. Turn left at the 2nd stop sign and follow Auburn Avenue west several blocks. The building will be on the right.
Baldwin Wallace College Stadium - Take I-71 north past Strongsville. Take Exit 235. Turn ___ at the ___ at the end of the ramp and follow Bagley Road west 1 1/2 miles. The stadium will be on the right.
Bellefontaine High School (937 593-0545) and Track Facilities – This is the shortest, smoothest, and most scenic route – HOWEVER, TAKE THE ALTERNATE ROUTE BELOW DURING TIMES OF HEAVY RAIN OR SNOW MELT – Take St.Rt.13 south to Mansfield. Take St.Rt.30 west approxiamately 40 miles to the outskirts of Upper Sandusky. Take St.Rt.23 southeast 6 miles down past the exit for Coon’s Candies (Great candy and gift shop stop). Turn right after crossing the LITTLE Sandusky River and follow St.Rt.294 west 8.4 miles. Turn left at the stop sign and follow St.Rt.67 southwest 15.5 miles into downtown Kenton. Turn left at the far end of the courthouse and follow StRt.68 southwest 22.5 miles to the south end of downtown Bellfontaine. Turn left by Wendy’s and follow Washington Avenue east 0.2 miles. Turn right and follow Harding Street south a short distance to the high school.
Bellefontaine High School (937 593-0545) and Track Facilities (Alternate Route) – Take St.Rt.30 west until you are eleven miles beyond (west of) Upper Sandusky. Turn left at the flashing yellow light and follow St.Rt.37 south 2.5 miles into the business section of the village of Forest. Turn right by the Dairy Barn (Pepsi sign) and follow St.Rt.53 southwest 13 miles until you reach the far end of Kenton. Pick up St.Rt.68 and follow it southwest 22 miles to the south end of downtown Bellefontaine. Turn left by Wendy’s and follow Washington Avenue east 0.2 miles. Turn right and follow Harding Street south a short distance to the high school.
Bellevue High School stadium and track via Plymouth - Take 603 northwest through Shenandoah, Shiloh, and into Plymouth. Turn left/west at the stop sign onto Broadway St. Immediately turn right/north at the light and follow St.Rt.61 north several miles. Turn left at the light and follow St.Rt.224 into Willard. Veer right/north just past Burger King and follow St.Rt.99 fifteen miles to the north end of Monroeville. Turn left at the traffic light and follow St.Rt.20 west eight miles to Bellevue. Continue to follow St.Rt.20 into the old historic downtown area. Turn right at the third light past the the dip under the railroad overpass (at the kink in the road. Follow North West Street ¾ of a mile northwest. Turn left and follow W. Aigler west down to the staudium. You will find W. Aigler three blocks past the turn sign for the high school. WARNING: DO NOT CONFUSE THIS WITH BELLVILLE.
Bellevue High School stadium and track via Norwalk - Take 603 northwest into Shenandoah. Turn right at the stop sign and follow St.Rt.13 north thirteen miles to the village of Fitchville. Turn left at the stop sign and follow St.Rt.250 northwest ten miles to the edge of Norwalk. Turn left at the far end of the overpass and follow St.Rt.20 fifteen miles through Monroeville and onto Bellevue. Turn left at the traffic light and follow St.Rt.20 west eight miles to Bellevue. Continue to follow St.Rt.20 into the old historic downtown area. Turn right at the third light past the the dip under the railroad overpass (at the kink in the road. Follow North West Street ¾ of a mile northwest. Turn left and follow W. Aigler west down to the staudium. You will find W. Aigler three blocks past the turn sign for the high school. WARNING: DO NOT CONFUSE THIS WITH BELLVILLE.
Bellevue Pole Vault Facility - Take 603 northwest through Shenandoah, Shiloh, and into Plymouth. Turn left/west at the stop sign onto Broadway St. Immediately turn right/north at the light and follow St.Rt.61 north several miles. Turn left at the light and follow St.Rt.224 into Willard. Veer right/north just past Burger King and follow St.Rt.99 fifteen miles to the north end of Monroeville. Turn left at the traffic light and follow St.Rt.20 west eight miles to Bellevue. Continue to follow St.Rt.20 through the old historic downtown area, and out the west end of town. As you are leaving Bellevue, go past the BALL Company, and the landscaping business. Turn left at the far end of the landscaping company onto Seneca Industrial Parkway (look for the yellow directional sign on the right). Follow that road south and curving back east past the police station. Park in the large parking lot near the taller building. The door is on the southwest corner of the building.
Bellville Community Sports Field – Need specific name - Take St.Rt.13 south through Mansfield and another six miles to the village Bellville. Turn left at the second corner and follow St.Rt.97 southeast one half mile. Turn right by Gorman Rupp Industries and follow Hines Avenue across the bridge. Turn left into the first drive. WARNING: DO NOT CONFUSE THIS WITH BELLEVUE.
Big Walnut Golf Course – Take I-71 southwest towards Columbus. Take Exit 140. Turn left at the end of the ramp and follow St.Rt.61 southeast 3.3 miles. The course will be on the right.
Bike Trail – See Richland B&O Bike Trail
Black River High School - Take St.Rt.545 into Savannah. Go straight at the stop sign and follow Robinson Road/County Road 620 east 2.7 miles out of town. Turn left at the stop sign onto St.Rt.511. Follow St.Rt.511 into the village of Nova. Turn right/east at the stop sign onto St.Rt.224. Follow St.Rt.224 to the village of Sullivan and turn left/north onto St.Rt.58. Follow St.Rt.58 past T150 and turn right/east at the next corner onto Co.Rd.40. The high school is several miles down on the right.
Bowling Green State University via 224 - Take St.Rt.603 northwest through Shenandoah, Shiloh, and into Plymouth. Turn left at the stop sign and follow Broadway Street west a short distance. Turn right at the light and follow St.Rt.61 north several miles. Turn left at the light by the Marathon station and follow St.Rt.224 west 30 miles through Willard and Attica, and under Tiffin. At the far side of Tiffin, go straight through the light and follow St.Rt.18 west 10 miles through Bascom and into downtown Fostoria. Pick up the signs for St.Rt.199 and follow it out of Fostoria and north 14 miles. Turn left and follow St.Rt.6 west 3.7 miles. Turn right and follow Bowling Green E.Rd./ CR-615 west 0.3 miles. Turn right and follow Bowling Green E.Rd. north 0.7 miles. Turn left and follow Bowling Green E.Rd. west 2 miles to Bowling Green. Continue straight and follow what is now E.Wooster Street into the campus area.
Bowling Green State University via St.Rt.30– Take St.Rt.30 west 37 miles to Upper Sandusky. Follow St.Rt. 23 (Toledo) northwest 14 miles. When St.Rt.23 turns north at the Carrie exit, remain on the same road you’ve been driving and follow what is now called St.Rt.15 (Toledo) northwest another 14 miles. Follow I-75 north 25 miles. Take Exit 181. Turn left at the light at the end of the ramp and follow E.Wooster Street west a short distance to the campus.
Bowling Green State University’s Perry Fieldhouse (Indoor Track) Follow either of the above directions into campus. Turn right by McDonald’s and follow Mercer Road north ½ miles. The fieldhouse will be on the left. Use parking lot 18 and enter through the center doors.
Brookside (Main) Park – Community Stadium (Site of State Softball Championships) - Take St.Rt.96 southeast into Ashland. Follow St.Rt.96 across the tracks, past Brookside West (the other park), and then down the long hill. Turn right/south at the light onto Parkside Drive. Community Stadium will be directly ahead.
Brookside Golf Course - Take St.Rt.96 east into Ashland. After crossing the tracks, and passing by the Brookside West ponds, turn right/south at the corner with the brown wooden sign.
Brookside West Park - Take St.Rt.96 southeast to the edge of Ashland. Turn right/south just after crossing the tracks onto Baney Road. The park entrance will be on the left, just after crossing the bridge.
Brunswick High School - Take St.Rt.96 southeast to downtown Ashland. Turn right at the stop sign and follow Cottage Street south down the hill in the far lane. Turn left at the light and follow St.Rt.250/Main Street east through the downtown business area and several miles out to the interstate. Take I-71 forty miles northeast towards Cleveland. Take Exit 226/Brunswick. Turn left at the light at the end of the ramp and follow St.Rt.303 west 1.0 mile. The high school will be on the right.
Buckeye Central High School via Shelby - Take St.Rt.96 west through Shelby and two miles beyond. Veer right/northwest at the fork and follow St.Rt.39 eight miles. Turn left/west onto St.Rt.103 and follow it 4 miles into New Washington. Turn left/south at the 2nd stop sign to find the high school.
Buckeye Central High School via Plymouth
Take 603 northwest through Shenandoah, Rome, Shiloh, and into Plymouth. Turn left/west at the stop sign, and then go straight at the light to take Base Line Road heading west out of town. Follow Base Line for 3 miles. Go straight at the stop sign and follow the St.Rt.103 W six miles into the town of New Washington. Turn left/south at the second stop sign to find the high school.
Bucyrus High School via Shelby - Take St.Rt.96 west through Shelby and 14 miles beyond until it ends. Turn left at the stop sign and follow St.Rt.98 southwest a short distance down to the highway. Get on the entrance ramp and follow St.Rt.30 west a short distance. Get off at the Sandusky Street/St.Rt.100 exit. Turn left at the end of the ramp and follow Sandusky Street south into Bucyrus. A short distance beyond the hospital, turn right and follow River Street southwest to the bend in the road and then West Perry Street west out to the high school.
Bucyrus High School via St.Rt.30
Take St.Rt.13 south to Mansfield. Take St.Rt.30 west 24.1 miles. Take the CR330/Bucyrus exit (near Timkin). Turn left at the bottom of the ramp and follow East Mansfield Street west 1 ½ miles into town. Turn right just after crossing under the second railroad trestle, and follow East Mary Street north through the curve and then west one mile until it ends. Turn right at the stop sign. The school will be in sight directly ahead with all outdoor sports facilities to the left.
Butler Elementary School via St. Rt. 13 – Clearfork High School - Take St.Rt.13 south through Mansfield and another six miles to the village Bellville. Turn left at the second corner and follow St.Rt.97 southeast six miles to the village of Butler. Turn right at the second corner (beginning of the curve) and follow College Street south two blocks. Turn right at the far end of the elementary school and follow Morgan Street east one block. Turn right at the next corner and follow Wilson Avenue up to the back parking lot.
Butler Elementary School via St. Rt. 603 – Clearfork High School - Follow St.Rt.603 south of Olivesburg 19.5 miles until it ends. Turn right at the stop sign and follow St.Rt.95 five miles west to Butler. Turn right 100 yards past Webster Mountain Sports and Canoe Livery onto Traxler Street. Follow Traxler up to the stop sign. Turn left onto Main Street. Turn right at the next corner (White Church) onto Morgan Street. Follow Morgan Street to the second stop sign and the back of the school. Turn right onto Wilson Avenue and follow it up into the back parking lot.
Cabin Restaurant – (Dinner and banquet facilities) - Follow St.Rt.603 south 10.9 miles out of Olivesburg. The restaurant will be on the right.
Cahn Grove Ashland City Park – Park and ballfield - Take St.Rt.96 southeast to downtown Ashland. Turn right at the stop sign and follow Cottage Street south down the hill in the far lane. Turn left at the light and follow St.Rt.250/Main Street east through the downtown business area and the older neighborhood. Turn left at the light by the Sunoco Station onto Miller Street. Turn right at the light onto Cleveland Avenue. Follow Cleveland Avenue down through the neighborhood and through the long left curve. Turn left at the corner next to Lyn Way Restaurant. The park will be on the right.
Camp Nuhop – (419) 938-7151. Follow St.Rt.603 south 19.7 miles until it ends. Turn right at the stop sign and follow St.Rt.95 southwest 1 mile. Turn left/southeast and follow Pleasant Hill Road several miles. The entrance sign for the camp will be visible just after you drive up the hill between the small village of cabins/homes.
Capital University - Take I-71 into downtown Columbus. Take Exit 108B. Turn left at the light at the end of the ramp and follow the signs for St.Rt.40 east 2.5 miles. Turn right onto Drexel Avenue (St.Rt.40 turns south here) and follow it south ___blocks until it ends. Turn left at the traffic light and follow Main Street east a short distance. Turn right at the light and follow Pleasant Ridge Avenue south into the campus. Athletics will be to your left. All other buildings will be to the right.
Cedar Point Amusement Park – Follow either St.Rt13 or St.Rt.250 northwest to downtown Norwalk. Follow St.Rt.250 another 15.0 miles through Norwalk, up beyond the turnpike, and into the residential area of Sandusky. After passing Taco Bell, get into the right hand lane and follow that lane up the bridge that crosses over the railroad system. Turn right at the exit at the crest of the bridge. Follow the signs several more miles through Sandusky and across the causeway (charge) to Cedar point.
Centerburg High School - Take St.Rt.30 west following the signs for “30/west/Bucyrus”. After passing under Trimbell, get in the right lane and take the Take St.Rt.309 exit. Follow St.Rt.309 southwest 4 ½ miles through Ontario. Turn left by Roadhouse Restaurant and follow St.Rt.314 south 33.1 miles through Johnsville, North Woodbury, Chesterville, and Sparta (home of Highland Schools) until it ends. Turn right and follow St.Rt.36 southwest 1.1 miles through Centerburg. The school will be on the left leaving town.
Central Elementary School (Lexington City Schools) - Take St.Rt.13 south through downtown Mansfield and up the hill past FAST TRACK Car Wash. Veer right at the fork by Papa John’s Pizza and follow St.Rt.42 southwest seven miles to Lexington. Continue with St.Rt.42 past Speedway, Subway, BUCKS Bar & Grill, and over the bridge. Turn left/south at the traffic light onto St.Rt.546/Frederick Street. Turn right into the drive at the far side of the Middle School to reach Central Elementary.
Central Elementary School (Shelby City Schools) Take St.Rt.96 west into downtown Shelby. Turn left at the first light past the tracks and follow High School Avenue south a short distance. The middle school building is the ___ building on the right.
Charles Mill Dam and Recreation Area (picnic area) - Take St.Rt.603 south of Olivesburg 12.3 miles. The dam and recreation area will be on the right.
Clear Fork Board of Education - Take St.Rt.13 south through Mansfield and another six miles to the village Bellville. Turn left at the second corner and follow St.Rt.97 southeast one half mile. Turn right by Gorman Rupp Industries and follow Hines Avenue across the bridge.The offices will be on the left.
Clear Fork High School - Take St.Rt.13 south through Mansfield and another six miles to the village Bellville. Turn left at the second corner and follow St.Rt.97 southeast just over two miles. The high school will be on the left.
Clear Fork High School Soccer – See Butler Elementary School
Clear Fork Ski Area via St.Rt.13 - Take St.Rt.13 south through Mansfield and another six miles to the village Bellville. Turn left at the second corner and follow St.Rt.97 southeast six miles to the village of Butler. Go straight at the light and follow the signs for St.Rt.95 out to the edge of town. The entrance will be on the right.
Clear Fork Ski Area via St.Rt.603 - Follow St.Rt.603 south of Olivesburg 19.7 miles until it ends. Turn right at the stop sign and follow St.Rt.95 five miles west. The entrance for the ski area will be on the left just before entering the village of Butler.
Colonel Crawford High School – Take St.Rt.13 south to Mansfield. Take St.Rt.30 18.7 miles west. Take the 602/New Washington exit. Turn right at the top of the ramp and follow St.Rt.602 north 1.4 miles to the village of North Robinson. The school will be on the right as you enter town.

Conard Field House - Ashland University
Take St.Rt.96 southeast to downtown Ashland. Turn right at the stop sign and follow Cottage Street south down the hill using the middle lane. Go through the light and follow what will now be Clairmont Avenue southwest up the top of the hill and the bend in the road. Veer slightly left at the light and follow King Road directly south. The Physical Education Building will be the second building on your right. It’s back from the road. Conard Field House is accessable via a hallway inside this building. Enter the building and head left. The hallway to Conard Field House will be just past the gymnasium. Parking is available down the street, on the left.
Crestline High School via Shelby - Take St.Rt.96 to the far end of downtown Shelby. Turn left at the traffic light just beyond the Ben Franklin store and follow St.Rt.61 south out of town and ___ miles to the outskirts of Crestline. You will come to a “30 M.P.H.” curve immediately followed by a “25 M.P.H.” curve. Go straight/west in the “25 M.P.H.” curve, leaving St.Rt.61. Go straight at the stop sign. The high school will be on the right.
Crestline High School via Mansfield - Take St.Rt.13 south to Mansfield. Take St.Rt.30 west 7.7 miles. Take the Fourth St/Crestline exit. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp and follow Fourth Street several miles west to downtown Crestline. Turn right at the second corner past McDonalds and follow Henry Street north until it ends. Turn left at the stop sign and follow ___ west a short distance. The high school will be on the right.
Crestline High School Football and Track – See Hudson Stadium
Crestline Middle School via Shelby - Take St.Rt.96 to the far end of downtown Shelby. Turn left at the traffic light just beyond the Ben Franklin store and follow St.Rt.61 south out of town and ___ miles to Crestline. Continue following the signs for St.Rt.61 through the downtown area.The middle school will be two blocks past (south of) McDonalds.
Crestline Middle School via Mansfield - Take St.Rt.13 south to Mansfield. Take St.Rt.30 west 7.7 miles. Take the Fourth Street/Crestline exit. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp and follow Fourth Street several miles to downtown Crestline. Turn left/south in front of McDonalds onto Thoman. The middle school will be two blocks past McDonalds.

Finley University – Track and Field Indoor Facility Via St.Rt. 30 and I-75 – Take St.Rt.30 west 37 miles to Upper Sandusky. Follow St.Rt. 23 (Toledo) northwest 14 miles. When St.Rt.23 turns north at the Carrie exit, remain on the same road you been driving and follow what is now called St.Rt.15 (Toledo) northwest another 14 miles. Follow I-75 north 2 miles. Take exit 159 and turn right at the end of the ramp. Follow West Trenton Avenue east 5 blocks. Turn right and follow North Cory Street south two blocks. The back of the field house will be on the left. You can usually get in through the back door.

Hoover Reservoir (North end of Columbus – fishing, boating, picnic areas) - Take I-71 south to Columbus. Take Exit 121/Polaris Pkwy. Turn left at the light at the end of the ramp and travel 5.1 miles east to the boat ramp. This road will start off as Polaris Parkway and will eventually make a name change to Maxtown Road. An information map for Hoover Reservoir will be posted by the boat ramp.

Liberty Elementary School – River Valley Schools - Take St.Rt.13 south to Mansfield. Take St.Rt.30 west 15.4 miles. Take the 598/Galion/Shelby exit. Turn left at the top of the ramp and follow St.Rt.598 south several miles through Galion and then 14 miles beyond through Iberia, and into Caledonia. Turn left just entering Calledonia and follow St.Rt.746 south .2 miles. The school will be on the left.
Lodi Outlet Mall – See Prime Outlets Lodi
Loudonville High School - Follow St.Rt.603 thirteen miles south of Olivesburg. Turn left/east and follow St.Rt.39 ten miles to Loudonville. The high school is on the right just after you round the curve leading into town. Turn right across from the green sign reading “Football Parking” onto Perry Avenue.

Lucas High School via Madison (Buses will clear the tunnel) - Take St.Rt.545 south past DaySprings (County Home). In the curve at the top of the hill turn left/east onto Pavonia West. Immediately veer right/southeast at the fork onto Osbun Rd. Turn right/south before the red barn and follow Stewart Road through the tunnel, and up the long hill. Carefully turn left/south in the curve(watch for oncoming traffic) and continue with Stewart Road another 4 miles until it ends. Turn left/southeast at the stop sign and follow St.Rt.39 four miles into Lucas. Turn left at the traffic light and follow Union Street to the front of the high school. For Softball go straight and park behind the high school. For all other sports turn right onto First Avenue, and then left/north onto Union Street. Follow Union Street up the hill. Enter the gymnasium between the two closely built buildings at the top of the hill. The stadium and track are north of the third building.
Lucas High School via Olivesburg and St.Rt.603 - Follow St.Rt.603 thirteen miles south of Olivesburg. Turn right/west at the stop sign and follow St.Rt.39 two miles into Lucas. Turn right/north at the second corner onto Park Street. Park Street will lead you up to a stop sign. The high school is the closest building. For Softball turn left onto First Avenue and then right onto Leiter Road and park behind the high school. For all other sports, go straight up the hill. Enter the gymnasium between the two closely built buildings at the top of the hill. The stadium and track are north of the third building.

Madison High School via St. Rt. 545 - Take St.Rt.545 south past DaySprings (County Home). In the curve at the top of the hill turn left/east onto Pavonia West. Immediately veer right/southeast at the fork onto Osbun Road. Turn right/south before the red barn and follow Stewart Rd through the tunnel, and up the long hill. Carefully turn left/south in the curve (watch for oncoming traffic) and continue on with Stewart Road several more miles through the neighborhoods and up over St.Rt.30. Turn left/northeast at the light and follow St.Rt.42 under St.Rt.30 and past Mom’s Restuarant. Turn right at the light and folow Melroy Road up over St.Rt.30 again. Immediately turn left and follow Evergreen to the end of the street. Turn right/south and follow Burgraff into the back
Madison High School from the east end of the district - Take St.Rt.42 southwest into Mansfield. Turn left at the light just beyond Speedway and follow Melroy Road up over St.Rt.30. Immediately turn left and follow Evergreen to the end of the street. Turn right/south and follow Burgraff into the back entrance to the high school.
Madison High School from the west end of the district - Take either St.Rt.39 or St.Rt.13 south to Mansfield. Take St.Rt.30 east toward Wooster. At the far end of Mansfield, take the “42 North – Ashland” exit and follow St.Rt.42 east past SAVE-a-lot and Mom’s Restaurant. Turn right at the next light and follow Melroy Road up over St.Rt.30. Immediately turn left and follow Evergreen to the end of the street. Turn right/south and follow Burgraff into the back entrance to the high school.
Madison Junior High via St.Rt.545 - Take St.Rt.545 southwest toward Mansfield. Slow down after Crystal Springs Boarding Stables (red barn near road). Veer left/south across from the green “Mansfield Corporation Limit” sign and follow Fifth Avenue 2 miles south until it ends (Dairy Queen). Turn left/east and follow Ashland Road ¼ mile. Turn right/south at the corner just past Family Dollar into the parking lot for Madison Jr. High.
Madison Junior High from the east end of the district - Take St.Rt.42 southwest into Mansfield and down the big hill past Taco Bell. The junior high building will be on the left. Turn left at the far end of the building to find parking.
Madison Junior High from the west end of the district
Madison South Elementary - Take St.Rt.545 south past DaySprings (County Home). In the curve at the top of the hill turn left/east onto Pavonia West. Immediately veer right/southeast at the fork onto Osbun Road. Turn right/south before the red barn and follow Stewart Rd through the tunnel, and up the long hill. Carefully turn left/south in the curve (watch for oncoming traffic) and continue on with Stewart Road 3 more miles south. Turn right/west at the light and follow Wooster Road around the curve. Turn left at the light by Citco and follow Illinois Avenue 1¼ miles. Madison South Elementary will be less than a mile past the railroad tracks.
Main Street School in Norwalk - Take 603 northwest into Shenandoah. Turn right/north at the stop sign and follow St.Rt.13 thirteen miles to the village of Fitchville. Turn left/northwest at the stop sign and follow St.Rt.250 ___ miles to downtown Norwalk. Cross over the tracks, and turn right/east at the light at the top of the hill, and follow St.Rt.61/Main St. several blocks east. Main Street School will be on the right just past East of Chicago Pizza.
Malabar Farm via St.Rt.603 (Historical working farm with animals to see, gift shop, horse trails, historic home tour, camping, banquet cabins, and festivals) - Take St.Rt.603 nineteen miles south of Olivesburg. Look for the turn for Malabar Farm at the bottom of one of the steep hills. Follow the signs to the parking lot.
Malabar Farm via Mansfield - Take St.Rt.13 south through Mansfield and several miles beyond to the I-71/St.Rt.13 intersection business area. Turn left just before the freeway and follow Hanley Road east 2 miles. Turn right at the stop sign and follow Washington Road south a short distance. Veer left at the fork and follow Pleasant Valley Road southeast 6 miles. Signs will lead you to the parking area.
Mansfield Area Y via St.Rt.13 - Take St.Rt.13 south through downtown Mansfield and up the hill past FAST TRACK Car Wash. Veer right at the fork by Papa John’s Pizza and follow St.Rt.42 southwest 1.1 miles. The entrance will be on the left.
Mansfield Area Y via St.Rt.42 - Take St.Rt.42 through downtown Mansfield, up the hill past FAST TRACK car wash, and another 1.1 miles past Papa John’s Pizza. The entrance will be on the left.
Mansfield Art Center - Take St.Rt.30 west following the sign for “30/West/Bucyrus”. Take the Trimble Road exit. Turn left at the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp and follow Trimble south 1 3/4 miles. Turn left at the light by First Presbyterian Church and follow Millsboro Road east just over a ½ mile. Turn right at the light by First Congregational Church and follow Marion Avenue southeast a few feet. The entrance to M.A.C. will be on the right, somewhat hidden by the bushes.
Mansfield Christian High School via downtown Mansfield - Take St.Rt.13 south through downtown Mansfield and up the hill past FAST TRACK Car Wash. Veer right at the fork by Papa John’s Pizza and follow St.Rt.42 s
