Welcome to the Technology Department page.

The Technology Department is made up of Dave Stevens, Technology Coordinator, and Gino Mollica, Assistant Technology Coordinator.

The Technology Center is located in the modular building that sits back behind the Middle School.  We have an open floor plan on two sides that house a conference table area, work-bench, storage, and a 16 seat training area for staff.

The Tech Department takes care of the day to day technology operations of the district.  This can consist of fixing hardware and software problems for the staff.  As well as maintaining and managing the network infrastructure.  We have a budget we work within for maintaining the supplies, hardware, and software purchases.  We upkeep the Projectors, printers, computers, Virtual desktops, and mobile devices.  We also provide professional development classes for our staff to attend.

Virtual Desktops and Mobile devices are the newest in the family of technology for our district.  We have set up a Virtual environment allowing us to expand our Servers in a more efficient way.  We are also expanding our PC replacement plan to allow for Virtual desktops instead of actual PC's at the user level.  This gives us greater flexibility in managing the teacher's needs.

Our wireless infrastructure has been updated during the Summer of 2012.  We installed new access points that can handle more bandwidth, and the latest mobile devices.  We will have a staff, student, and public access capability.  Each building will have their own procedure for allowing students to use their personal devices in the district.
