We have had a marvelous start to the school year with the students and staff working diligently! A lot of fun and learning is going on in our building. You will be receiving information about upcoming field trips, fire muster (thanks to our fire departments), parent-teacher conferences, and information as we focus on “positive culture” throughout the building. Thank you Crestview Parents Club who have supported our efforts by providing supplies for our positive culture initiative. Students love “caught being good” by staff! Our teachers have attended some fabulous training that they will bring back to the building. Also a literacy coach from Mid-Ohio ESC will be coming one day/week who will be working our teachers. We also had a visit from the Board of Education and Mr. Dunlap! They were very complimentary of the building.
A reminder that interim reports will go home this month. Elementary student pictures are scheduled for October 6th. There will be a Math Night in partnership with Ashland University on Thursday, November 3rd, starting at 5:30 p.m. with pizza, and games from 6-7:00 p.m. I welcome your time and talents at Crestview. If you are unable to volunteer during the school day; and would like to help, please contact your child’s teacher to see how you can support them. As a working mom of four, I know cutting out lamination and sending in supplies can be much appreciated. My office is always open for conversation and ideas.
Thank you for a warm welcome to Crestview! Respectfully, Kate Hamilton
