As we begin a new year, we are also beginning a new program. The need for the youngest learners in our community to be afforded the opportunity for a jumpstart on their education became evident to me a couple of years ago.
After much evaluation and exploration, it was decided that Crestview needed to have a preschool in order to provide the benefits of an early educational foundation to as many young children as possible and to support the young parents in our district with the important task of educating our children.
We are very excited as we head into the new year to be able to offer, in conjunction with Warren County ESC, what we feel will be a quality preschool program that will prepare our new young learners for the excitement and wonder of learning and growing in a caring environment of support, affording us the opportunity to develop a lasting partnership with our newest school parents.
If you are the parent of a preschool age child, or know of a district resident with a preschool age child, I encourage you to apply for a spot in this new program. Application packets are available through our district website or in person at the Board office. If you have questions regarding the enrollment packet, please feel free to call the Board office at (419) 895-1700 and we will be happy to help you. It is important that all documents in the enrollment packet be completed in order for us to thoroughly evaluate the needs of your child as an individual learner. Our hope is to be able to serve your child through an environment of creative learning and discovery that will imprint upon them a desire to be lifelong learners.
