COSI on WHEELS visited Crestview elementary. This supported our Right-to-Read week. The students and teachers had a blast! In this picture is third grade student, Carter Blum.

Devyn Renninger, our new music teacher, has put together some wonderful music programs for you. All programs will take place at Crestview High School Auditorium. The third grade program takes place on December 13, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. The first grade program takes place on March 7, 2019 at 6:00 p.m.

A big thank you to our parent volunteers who have helped with conference night dinners, volunteering during COSI, working with students each week and attending Cougar Community Club meetings at the elementary. The teachers at Crestview Elementary appreciate you! After our break in December, we will kick off with our pepperoni fundraiser. Techers will have a professional development day on January 7 to collaborate with one another while learning through engaging activities. The elementary will host our annual Winterfest—more details to come. Our building continues with the Positive Behavior Intervention Support System (Positive Attitudes, Act Responsibly, Work Hard, Show Respect). This system monitors behavior where students can earn “Cougar Coins” and shop during our Cougar Mart Day. I also have Principal Cougar Coins that I will give out to students with stupendous behavior. Again, I encourage you to write a “shout out” to one of your favorite teachers and it will be placed on the “shout out” board!

We are excited to be continuing a partnership with Faith United Methodist Church. After Christmas break we will be offering a faith-based after school program for K-3 students. Please look for more information coming home with your child. We also continue partnerships with universities to provide their students an opportunity to be involved in
