Crestview marked National School Bus Safety Week last week. We are deeply appreciative of our drivers and the work they put into safely transporting Crestview's students to and from school and special events. They are the first and last faces many of our students see in their school day. Members of our administrative team each rode along with drivers throughout the week.
Crestview Local School District currently has several items available for auction on GovDeals.com. Community members are invited to bid on any of these items. Bidding on the current group of items closes on October 21. A second large group of items will open for bidding next week.
Tickets for our annual murder mystery dinner theater, "The Bold, the Young, and the Murdered" are on sale now! You can reserve your ticket through the LINQ app or at linqconnect.com.
On the LINQ app: go to the Store tab, which can be found at the bottom of the app.
On linqconnect.com: Select "School Store" under the School Services drop-down menu. Type in Crestview Local Schools - Ashland and look for Drama Club Ticket on page 2.
CHS Parents: This is a reminder that FAFSA Night will be held this evening at 6:30 pm in the high school media center. This is an opportunity to learn about the free application for federal student aid for any students preparing for college.
Crestview community members, Crestview High School needs your help! We are holding interest clubs for students each month and are in need of some materials to ensure our students get the most out of the experience. These club activities are during the school day and all students in our building will be participating in a club. Thank you in advance for any items you are able to donate or loan to us!

Crestview High School Drama Club is proud to present our third annual murder mystery dinner theater, "The Bold, the Young, and the Murdered." The long-running soap opera The Bold and the Young is in its last days: its hunky hero has self-esteem issues, its villainous old man is more interested in soup, and its heroines are slightly psychopathic. The executive producer gives the squabbling cast an ultimatum: Complete one episode overnight or the show dies. But when the director ends up murdered, and other cast members start dropping like flies, it seems like his threat might actually come true. Can these misfits discover the murderer before the show is literally killed off? Join us on October 26th and 27th to be a part of the action. For show details and ticket information, follow us on Facebook

Our Josten's rep will be here to hand out packets and explain ordering caps/gowns for graduation.

We are JUST A FEW DAYS away from our fall blood drive! Please come help Crestview's NHS chapter meet their goal of collecting 25 units of blood. We have 23 appointments left and we'd love to see them all filled!
Sign up at redcrossblood.org/give and enter 44805 to find our drive.
Families: Back to school is a good time to review the Student and Transportation Handbook. The current handbook, Board approved in July, is available at https://5il.co/2sevo. We appreciate your partnership and support in working to create a great school community.
Middle and High School families: All medications, prescription and over-the-counter, must be brought to the school nurse by a parent/guardian, and appropriate forms must be signed by their physician and parents before being administered at school. For more information, contact Nurse Makenna Bivens
We are proud to welcome Crestview alumnus, Deputy Chandler Holbrook, as our School Resource Officer.
I am Deputy Holbrook and I will be the new School Resource Officer. I was born and raised in the Crestview community, I come from The Richland County Sheriff's Office. When I am not working, I enjoy my free time with my wife and two French Bulldogs. I am a big Cleveland Browns fan. I am looking forward to this new position and getting to meet all of you.
It's back to school week and we can't wait to welcome everyone back! Reminder to families that school starts Monday for Preschool, Kindergarten, and Grades 5 & 9 only. All other students start on Tuesday. It's gonna be a great week. Go Cougars!

33. This is the number of drivers cited by the Ohio State Highway Patrol for passing a stopped Crestview bus during the last school year alone. Our bus drivers made 45 red-light violation reports last year, which, aided by camera footage, resulted in 33 citations. Protect our kids. #STOPmeansSTOP
Transportation Forms needed this weekend - To make sure every rider and route is properly scheduled, all families (bus riders or not) are asked to complete the Transportation Information form in FinalForms by this weekend. We may be unable to accommodate late requests in time for the first day of school. If you've already completed all of your forms for the new year, thank you, you're all good.
Senior Class of 2025 Families: Let us help you prepare for important events and deadlines for your senior this year. Please join us for a parent meeting on August 15 at 7:00 PM in the high school auditorium.
Exciting news! The Rooms app has been updated this summer with some VERY long-awaited improvements. Most notable is the "My Notifications" feature that brings all your messages together in one place, tagged with the name of the course/team and child for which the message was sent. No more sifting through dozens of groups to find new communications.
Is your child or family new to the district? Stay tuned for a Rooms invitation in early August!
Be a part of building the future!
We are currently accepting applications for the following positions:
- Preschool Teacher
- 4th Grade Teacher
- Food Service
- Bus Driver
