Mrs. Ronica Cordrey is a valued member of our High School staff, serving as the Media Center Specialist Aide as well as the Military Family Liaison. As a retired Ohio Air National Guard member, she understands the sacrifices and challenges of military life. Her personal military experiences allow her to be empathetic, ensuring military-connected students transition smoothly. She is happy to provide support and insight and assist you through the educational journey within Crestview Local Schools.

Mrs. Krystal Abshire is our Middle School Media Center Aide and also serves as the Middle School Military Family Liaison. In this role, she works to support and connect military-connected students with the resources and assistance they need to thrive academically and socially. Her goal is to ensure that these students feel supported in every aspect of their educational journey.

Mrs. Beth Courter is a first grade teacher at Crestview Elementary School and a district graduate. She values the commitment of our military families and the importance of helping those families make connections to local resources.

Military One Source (militaryonesource.mil) - A central hub and go-to place for the military community. Provides information about military benefits, deployments, reintegration, moves, parenthood, retirement, and more.

Our Military Kids (ourmilitarykids.org) - Our Military Kids, Inc., A 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization, supports children, ages 5-12th grade, of deployed National Guard and Reserve service members and children of wounded warriors from all service branches. Grants pay for participation in activities that help children cope with stress and anxiety while their parents are recovering or absent.

DoDEA (Department of Defense Education Activity) - (dodea.edu/education/partnership-and-resources) - DoDEA is committed to ensuring that all school-aged children of military families are provided a world-class education that prepares them for postsecondary education and/or career success and to be leading contributors in their communities as well as in our 21st-century globalized society.

Real Warriors Campaign (realwarriors.net) - A public awareness campaign encouraging help-seeking behavior among service members, veterans, and military families coping with invisible wounds.

Military Child Education Coalition (militarychild.org) - Focused on ensuring quality educational opportunities for all military children affected by mobility, family separation, and transition.

Pets for Vets - (petsforvets.com) - Pairs veterans with shelter dogs specially selected to match the veterans’ personalities.
