Crestview staff had the pleasure of opening the school year with learning sessions from Dr. Melissa Sadin on Trauma and Classroom Management. Dr. Sadin provided training on Trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) scores last spring. Discussions continued with great examples of questioning and resources that we can use in our classrooms. Dr. Sadin talked about hope and how important it is to use the term "hope" with our students. The implication of hope has positive effects on our brains and helps build resilience. The next professional learning day is scheduled for September 22, 2023.
