Following an amazing day of racing at the Tiffin Regional our Girls Team and Senior Cooper Brockway have earned the right to run for a State Title this coming Saturday at Fortress Obetz in Columbus. The Girls team lead by New School Record Holder Leyna Gerich (18:48.79) breaking the old record of Kim Yost (19:03) claimed a Regional Runner-up title at Saturday's Tiffin Regional. Gerich who finished in 5th place becomes the 1st Crestview female to run under 19 minutes in the 5K. Alina Durbin was also a individual State Qualifier with her 16th place finish in a time of 19:34.21. Joining these two are teammates Emmie Kemp, Laynie Kemp, Audrey Wolford, Georgia McFarland, and Mia Humrichouser. Cooper Brockway will make his 3rd appearance at the State Meet as he finished in 20th place at the Regional meet with a time of 16:24.85.
